This event is the second series based on the ‘new centre-ground’ theme that has been developed by Ed Miliband. This seminar will discuss some of the proposals put forward in a new Progress and Centre for American Progress pamphlet, authored by Liam Byrne MP, looking at different aspects of ‘the new centre-ground’ and the policies progressives around the world will need to regain this ground and win re-election. A new fiscal economy is at the heart of the new centre-ground and Labour’s economic credibilty with the electorate.
