Progress is running two fringe events at Labour’s local government conference this weekend. If you are attending the conference please join us at one or both of them:

Real change for Britain: what should Labour’s priorities for government be?

This event is part of a Progress series of event about the recently launched publication, The Purple Papers: Real Change for Britain, Real Choices for Labour.

The change we want to see: who is making Britain fairer under the Tories?
3.30pm, 9 February 2013

This event will ask who is changing Britain for the better and trying to make the UK a fairer and more prosperous place when the government is doing the opposite.

Speakers include:

  • Sharon Taylor Leader, Stevenage council
  • Ros McMullen Principal, David Young Community Academy, Leeds
