Primaries are an excellent idea, however where's the money going to come from? Certainly can't expect to pass on the costs to party members ... we're already pricing droves out of the party as it is with the increase in membership fees! Very good that we're having this debate within the party and Progress, but how about bringing these debates out into the rest of the country and members in London can put their hands in their pockets to pay to attend here? There are plenty of party members outside London you know! Think about it.
