September 26, 2016 @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm

All grown up: How do we best support our young people for the world of work outside the classroom?
Monday 26 September, 7.30-8.45pm, Comedy Central, 17 Edward Pavilion, Liverpool L3 4AF

Taking part in the National Citizen Service helps our young people prepare for life outside the classroom. Three in every four young people who take part in NCS say they feel more confident about getting a job after they take part. The panel will discuss this as well as what other skills and support our young people need to thrive.

This event is in partnership with NCS, National Citizen Service.

Speakers:

Lucy Powell MP Manchester Central

Wes Streeting MP Ilford North

Michael Lynas Chief executive, NCS Trust

Jermain Jackman Entertainer and NCS ambassador

Chair: Amina Lone Co-director, Social Action and Research Foundation
