The aim of the event is to discuss in detail whether upskilling via part-time and distance learning can help stimulate economic growth and what industry and HEIs can do to help deliver those solutions. In particular, there will be a focus on how the Labour Party can promote the skills agenda whilst promoting social mobility and ensuring access to education for all.
