Start:
Sep 24, 2013
End:
Sep 24, 2013
Venue:
15-17 Middle Street
Brighton, BN1 1AL United Kingdom

While the Labour party continues to make great strides towards increasing women’s representation in parliament and local government, for many, standing for selection and election can be a daunting prospect.

At this event, four women with experience of winning a place in the town hall and Westminster will discuss their insights and advice on standing for office and hitting the campaign trail running, followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

This event follows on from our Winning with Women conference earlier this month, which brought together people from across the Labour movement to discuss the role that women in the party and the electorate will play in winning Labour a majority in 2015.
