As well as examining and challenging what Labour will do for small businesses, this event will also touch on the role of businesses themselves and what SMEs would like to see from government, the question of whether it’s supply or demand for finance which is constricted, whether government schemes like Funding for Lending have had an impact, and the role of established and challenger banks.
