About the role

As a campaigning membership organisation it is important that we are talking to our supporters regularly so they can engage with and shape our work. One of the most important ways we do this is by picking up the phone.

This particular role will give you experience in areas like how to get people to take engage and then action on campaigns, how to fundraise as well as help you build your understanding of UK politics.

Your tasks will include speaking to our members and supporters about the campaigns we are running inside the Labour party and externally as well as supporting our fundraising efforts.

About you

You should have a strong interest in Progress’ work and renewing the ideas of the centre-left. You should also have a high standard of written English, a good telephone manner and interpersonal skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail.

Progress values equality and diversity and welcomes applications from candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity. We are keen to encourage applicants from groups not traditionally represented in our political system.
