From Gleneagles to Hokkaido: has the world made progress?

Progress is delighted to announce a special event about this summer's G8 summit in Hokkaido, Japan; which will be kindly hosted by the Embassy of Japan.

The debate will focus on whether the goals set at the G8 summit in Gleneagles in 2005 are closer to being met, and whether the 2008 Hokkaido G8 summit has helped make further progress on climate change, development, and trade.

The debate will be followed by a reception hosted by the Japanese Ambassador, lasting until 2030.
